Jeng-Lin (John) Li is a Ph.d student in Electrical Engineering under supervision of Prof. Chi-Chun (Jeremy) Lee in Behavioral Informatics & Interaction Lab (BIIC Lab) at National Tsing Hua University start from 2016.

His research interests are multimodal signal processing, affective computing and health analytics, focusing on personalized representation learning for multimodal emotion recognition. He has involved in several interdisciplinary academic research project, for instance, MOST AI innovation research project with three professors' teams. He is an AI scientist in AHEAD Medicine and he has engaged the project from 2017 before the company founded. He also has engaged in the cooperation project with E.Sun Bank (玉山銀行) from 2020 and engaged in the collaboration projects in eBizprise (聯合通商) from 2018 to 2019 and Emotibot Technologies (竹間智能) from 2017 to 2018. He was awarded with NTHU Principal Outstanding Student Scholarship (2017 - 2020), Garmin Scholarship (2018), Yahoo Scholarship (2019), EMBC student travel grants(2019), Interspeech student travel grants(2019), and Novatek PhD Scholarship (2020). He serves as a reviewer in IEEE Transaction on Affective Computing, IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, Computer Speech and Language (CSL), Future Generation Computing Systems (FGCS), APSIPA 2019, APSIPA 2020, APSIPA 2021.
