Ya-Tse Wu is a Ph.d student in Electrical Engineering under supervision of Prof. Chi-Chun (Jeremy) Lee in Behavioral Informatics & Interaction Lab (BIIC Lab) at National Tsing Hua University start from 2020.

He received his B.S. degree from National Taiwan Ocean University in 2016 and his M.S. degree from National Tsing Hua University in 2018. From 2019 to 2020, he worked at Fortemedia, where he focused on developing speech noise reduction algorithms. His research interests lie in speech signal processing, with a particular emphasis on speech emotion recognition, speech enhancement, and noise-robust speech modeling. In addition to participating in several collaborative research projects, he has also led multiple long-term technology transfer projects with industry partners. Notable collaborations include Gamania (2017–2018), Cemdia (2020–present), and Transglobe (2023–present). He has also been involved in government-funded projects, such as a collaboration with the Agency Against Corruption (2022–2024).
