第一場在新加坡科技研究局 A*STAR 分享,主題為「Beyond Accuracy: Reliability of Clinical AI Algorithms」。

第二場演講則在新加坡國立大學(NUS),主題為「Advancing AI for Disordered Speech: Assessment, Accessibility, and Articulation」。

Our first stop was at A*STAR, where Jeremy shared insights on "Beyond Accuracy: Reliability of Clinical AI Algorithms." He highlighted that as Clinical AI achieves high accuracy, the real keys to real-world deployment are System Robustness and User Trust. By showcasing several of our recent BIIC Lab studies, he demonstrated our commitment to making AI a transparent and dependable partner in clinical decision-making.

The second talk took place at NUS, focusing on "Advancing AI for Disordered Speech: Assessment, Accessibility, and Articulation." Jeremy redefined the role of Speech AI through the 3A Framework. By presenting multiple BIIC Lab papers, he explained how we leverage privacy-preserving and voice conversion technologies to empower speakers with disorders. Our goal is to break the exclusivity of current speech systems, ensuring every voice in the digital age is not only heard but truly understood and included.
